Liam Gallagher (born William John Paul Gallagher on September 21, 1972) is a British singer and songwriter best known as the former frontman of the iconic rock band Oasis. With his unmistakable sneer, swagger, and soaring vocals, Liam helped define the sound and attitude of 1990s Britpop. Oasis's 1994 debut album Definitely Maybe and the follow-up (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? became era-defining records, featuring anthems like “Live Forever,” “Wonderwall,” and “Don’t Look Back in Anger.” Known for his tumultuous relationship with his brother Noel, their creative clashes ultimately led to the band’s split in 2009. Liam went on to front Beady Eye before launching a successful solo career with As You Were (2017), which reestablished him as one of Britain’s most beloved rock figures. His raw honesty, working-class roots, and unfiltered personality have made him a cult icon, both on and off the stage. Even decades on, Liam Gallagher remains the embodiment of rock ’n’ roll attitude and Northern soul.
