Echoes of Amalfi explores the contrast between external beauty and inner emotion. Inspired by the dramatic coastline of southern Italy, the work juxtaposes the timeless elegance of the Mediterranean with a fragmented portrait that speaks of memory, resilience and personal transformation.

The geometric composition deliberately breaks the face into countless interconnected forms, symbolising the experiences that shape identity over time. Vibrant blues reflect the sea and sky of the Amalfi Coast, while warm amber and crimson tones represent passion, love and life's emotional scars. The subtle crimson tears are not intended as symbols of sorrow alone, but of growth, healing and the strength found through experience.
