Yellow Lines

Yellow Lines is a fine art photography collection by Ken White, presented exclusively by Gallery Privé.

The collection celebrates one of Budapest's most recognisable symbols—the historic yellow tram. More than a means of transport, the tram has become part of the city's visual identity, weaving through grand boulevards, crossing the Danube and passing some of Hungary's most celebrated architecture.

Using long-exposure photography, Ken White transforms ordinary journeys into contemporary works of art. The moving tram becomes a ribbon of colour flowing through the city, creating images that balance movement with stillness. Historic landmarks remain timeless while the passing tram introduces energy, rhythm and life.

Each photograph captures a different atmosphere, from the quiet blue tones of early morning to dramatic sunsets and illuminated night scenes. Together they form a visual journey through Budapest, celebrating the relationship between architecture, transport and everyday life.

Produced as museum-quality archival Giclée editions, Yellow Lines offers collectors a contemporary portrait of Budapest that combines documentary photography with artistic expression.
