ENTANGLED The Architecture of Desire
Four cinematic worlds explore the relationship between fashion, identity and the invisible structures that shape our lives. In emerald, crimson, black and white, female figures inhabit intricate webs that extend across their surroundings, transforming each space into an immersive sculptural environment.
From a commanding standing figure to suspended and inverted forms, Hiren Kothari creates a shifting dialogue between strength and vulnerability. Elaborate gowns, glossy silhouettes and cascading hair become part of the architecture, blurring the boundary between the individual and the world around her.
The web holds an unresolved meaning: connection, protection, confinement or possibility. Presented together, these four works invite the viewer to consider how we inhabit the structures that surround us—and whether those structures sustain us or hold us in place.
