Gallery Privé Returns to Sziget Festival 2026 with an Exclusive Artist Proof Exhibition

Published: August 2026

"Music may last only a moment, but great photography preserves it forever."

Every August, hundreds of thousands of people from around the world gather on Budapest's Óbuda Island for one extraordinary celebration of music, culture and creativity.

For more than thirty years, Sziget Festival has become one of Europe's most iconic festivals—a place where legendary performances create memories that remain long after the final encore.

This year, Gallery Privé proudly returns with Visions of Music, an exclusive exhibition celebrating the artists who have shaped modern music through a remarkable collection of original Artist Proof photographs by internationally acclaimed music photographer Fabien Chareix.

Curated by Hiren Kothari, Founder and Creative Director of Gallery Privé, the exhibition transforms unforgettable live performances into museum-quality fine art, inviting visitors to experience music history through the power of photography.

More Than Concert Photography

A concert lasts a few hours.

A photograph can last forever.

The twelve Artist Proof works presented in Visions of Music are not simply concert photographs. They are cultural documents, capturing fleeting moments of emotion, performance and connection between artist and audience.

Each image has been selected not only for its technical excellence but for the story it tells.

Together they celebrate rock, metal, hip-hop, electronic music and contemporary performance, reflecting the extraordinary diversity that defines Sziget Festival itself.

The Exhibition

Prince — Red Light — AP Issue

Bathed in dramatic crimson stage lighting, Prince commands the stage with effortless confidence. The image captures the mystery and theatrical brilliance that made him one of music's greatest performers. Every shadow and highlight reinforces his legendary ability to transform performance into pure artistry.

Prince — Electric Gaze — AP Issue

Sometimes the most powerful moment is silence.

Electric Gaze captures Prince in complete command, connecting with thousands through nothing more than a single expression. It is a portrait of confidence, creativity and artistic genius.

Tony Iommi — Master of Riffs

Widely recognised as one of the founders of heavy metal guitar, Tony Iommi's influence extends across generations of musicians.

This portrait celebrates precision, innovation and the unmistakable sound that helped define an entire genre.

Ozzy Osbourne — Prince of Darkness

Few performers possess a stage presence as instantly recognisable as Ozzy Osbourne.

This powerful image captures his raw energy and enduring charisma, celebrating an artist whose influence on rock music continues to inspire audiences around the world.

Yungblud — Riot in Blue

Representing a new generation of fearless performers, Yungblud embodies individuality, self-expression and creative freedom.

The vibrant blue lighting reflects the explosive energy that has made his live performances unforgettable.

The Rolling Stones — Midnight Motion — AP Issue

Even after decades on stage, The Rolling Stones continue to perform with remarkable vitality.

Midnight Motion captures movement, rhythm and the timeless spirit of one of rock's greatest bands.

The Rolling Stones — Stage Fire — AP Issue

Explosive lighting, commanding performance and undeniable chemistry combine to create one of the exhibition's most dramatic works.

Stage Fire celebrates the enduring passion that continues to define The Rolling Stones.

Lemmy — Born to Raise Hell

Lemmy Kilmister represented authenticity like few others.

Uncompromising, powerful and instantly recognisable, this artwork celebrates one of rock's true originals—a musician whose legacy extends far beyond music itself.

Metallica — Ride the Light

Power.

Precision.

Intensity.

Ride the Light captures Metallica performing with the energy that has made them one of the world's most influential metal bands. It is an image that reflects movement, discipline and pure musical force.

Iron Maiden's theatrical performances have become legendary.

This artwork celebrates the band's extraordinary ability to combine storytelling, musicianship and spectacle into unforgettable live experiences.

Faithless — Sziget in Silhouette

Created from one of Sziget Festival's most atmospheric performances, this striking image transforms light and shadow into an emotional composition.

Rather than focusing solely on the performer, it captures the shared experience between artist and audience—the very essence of live music.

Coldplay — A Sky Full of Colour

Few bands create moments of collective emotion quite like Coldplay.

Filled with light, colour and optimism, this artwork reflects the uplifting atmosphere that has made their performances some of the most celebrated in contemporary music.
